They even swept the garage when they were done loading. Their follow through was excellent as well. As promised they sent a donation receipt for the items that were donated. Hoarder Help in Anaheim, CA

Not all jobs are created equal.

A hoarder was in an accident that left him mentally and physically ill. He was unable to take care of himself and ended up breaking a hip trying to navigate through his home, which was completely packed with trash and debris. His family contacted us for a very large job to clear the home so they could renovate and make it livable again, along with getting assistance for their family member.

Some jobs impact us more than others. To help a family get through a tough situation like this is very humbling.

Basketball Hoop Direct Family Donation in Anaheim Hills, CA

After a job in Anaheim Hills, CA our Junkluggers team brought some furniture items along with a full size, extendable basketball hoop and backboard to Goodwill. The hoop was in good condition but their kids were grown and they didn't have a need for it anymore.

When we arrived at Goodwill we were able to donate everything except for the basketball hoop, which Goodwill said was too large for them to take. So we started loading it back in our truck when a couple and their 9 year old boy came up to us to ask what we were going to do with the basketball hoop.

We told them we were going to take it to another donation center but that they could have it if they would like to take it. The boy's eyes lit up and he was so thrilled! They even had a basketball to go with it. The family had brought a truck with them so we helped them load it, all the while the boy could not stop smiling. He said he wanted to surprise his brothers and sisters at home.

It was a great feeling for our Junklugger team to know that we were able to donate something directly to a family who would continue to enjoy it for many years to come.
